Inverted Row (under a sturdy table)
The Inverted Row (under a sturdy table) is a row for the back, biceps and rear delts, done with just your body weight.
The animated figure highlights the muscles worked.
How to do it
- Lie under a heavy, stable table and grip its edge, hands shoulder-width
- Body straight from heels to shoulders, pull your chest to the edge
- Lower slowly; bend your knees to make it easier
Coach’s tip
Test the table first: it must not tip or slide. A low, sturdy bar or rings work too.
Alternatives
Same job, different tools: swap in one of these when the equipment is busy or the movement doesn’t suit you.
